About Ellen Campos

Ellen is originally from the Chicago area and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She moved to Nashville to pursue graduate studies and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Belmont University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her doctoral work focused on global health and more, specifically developing nursing curriculum on neonatal resuscitation for nursing schools across South India.

Her clinical background spans emergency medicine, in-patient and surgical care, and women’s health. She is also passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of nurses and serves as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Lipscomb University.

In her free time, Ellen enjoys running, road cycling, and exploring new restaurants around Nashville. She also loves to travel and has visited two of the seven wonders of the world, with hopes to see them all.
